MacOs Show Desktop Shortcut like on Windows

Quick tutorial for you. I had a dilemma for quite some time now and didn’t look into it. I recently ( almost 1 year ago ) got my macbook and went from Windows to Mac.

Got used to it and the shortcuts and stuff like that, the single thing that bothered me at this point was that I couldn’t show the desktop like on windows with CTRL + D and didn’t know what shortcut does that. ( It was FN + F11 to show desktop on mac ).

So, how to change the shortcut and put it like on windows ?

  1. Go to System Preferences and search for Keyboard
  2. Navigate to Shortcuts
  3. Select Mission Control and there you have it (  Show desktop shortcut ) and you can change it to CMD + D like I did

Hope you found this useful, enjoy :).
